This section provides a description of all variables used in the point source analysis and motivates the choice of the final selection parameters. The passing efficiencies and rejection power for each variable used in the optimization procedure are shown. The figures compare the distributions from background and signal simulations. Experimental data are overlaid on top of background MC to aid the comparison.
