Having now developed a set of selection criteria, optimized cuts as shown in the last section (section 3), the next step is to search for point sources in the data set which contain only the events that pass this selection criteria. This section discusses the method of searching for point sources in the data set and also the calculations and results of flux limits for the entire observable sky (northern hemisphere). Several point source candidates were also investigated to calculate flux limits and expected event rates.
