Minutes of E362 FD weekly meeting

--Muon chambers 
*Ishii/Mine/Jeong finished fixing the gas leak of all bad modules.
*Ishii/Nakano tested the gas circulation system on 11/02 and found that it 
 still worked. Ishii leaves the system as it is in Fuji. He will transferr 
 the system to a new experimental hall in early 1998 and replace the old 
 parts by new ones then.

--SCIFI
*As discussed at the collab meeting, we must decide the length of fiber in a 
 week. Etoh et al will check the necessary length using the fiber sheets soon.
 Kobe group is about to order many parts for a new spooling machine.
*Please bring your ideas how to confine the SCIFI detector in nitrogen or 
 oxygen-free environment. 

--Horn 
 Kohama finished setting/wiring the strain gauges in the inner conductor of 
 the first horn. He is testing them.

--Analysis
*Sakuda selected 22K protons of 0.4<p<1.2 GeV/c using TOF counters from
 VENUS data and showed the LG response as a funtion of P.
 Ishida implemented those data to the simulation of the fine grain detector.
