E362 weekly meeting 
At KEK R307, March 15, 17:30-20:30

(1) Chikamatsu (INS) shows the expected performance of the fine-grain detector
 for the case of (a) perfect resolutions, (b) realistic resolutions and 
 (c) (b)+ scifi inefficiency (50%). S/N, sensitivity to oscillations etc.

(2) Etou shows the outline of his talk on SCIFI at JPS meeting (March 31). 
 He prepares for the light yield measurement of D0 scinti/WLS at Nikkou hall.

(3) Nakamura (Niigata) reports his Monte Carlo study for nu_e/nu_mu 
measurement. Selection criteria:(i) 2 tracks in SCIFI, one of them 
connected to LG, (ii) No muon chamber hits, (iv) kinematics of 
quasi-elastics and (v) LG energy cut. He uses 10000 background events (CC)
and obtains 59 after (iv). There is only 1 events left above E(LG)>1 GeV. 
He now checks nu_e events. LG looks useful. 

(4) Ohyama concludes that the fiducial volume residual (Delta(V)/V) 
 populates at zero using a simple Monte Carlo. There was a discussion
 on it in the previous weeting. 

(5) Aoki(Kobe),Nakano,Kawai,Ishikawa(Nagoya) and Sakuda discussed the drum 
design at Nagoya Univ on March 12. After the new drum has been made, 
fiber sheets will be made at Nagoya for the proto-type in June(?).
 
(6) Ishii(INS) will take a few muon chambers from KEK to INS for bench test.
