~~~ FAQs ~~~
Is there a website I can go to in order to see how my classes have fulfilled these requirements?
  • Yes. You should look at your Degree Audit, by logging into the Student Access Website. The Degree Audit is unofficial, but it will give you a good idea of what requirements you have fulfilled and still need to fulfill.
Can I take classes Pass/Not Pass?
  • Of course you can, but only if the class is being used for your GE requirements. You cannot take major classes as P/NP unless they are offered as P/NP Only.
How many GE classes can I take Pass/Not Pass?
  • You may take an average of one per quarter, by the time you graduate. Classes offered as P/NP Only do not count toward this limit.
What is a Passing grade?
  • D- and above is passing, for all classes on campus. Certain classes, however, require a C in a previous course as a prerequisite, such as many Chemistry sequence courses.
Do I have to officially declare my minor?
  • Maybe. For most minors, just take all the right courses (requirements in the General Catalogue) and you get the minor upon graduation (which you indicate to us when you file a graduation application). Some minors, however, such as Education, Management, and Accounting, require students to apply for the minor in advance.
