I started my physics studies in Italy at the University of Perugia,
after receiving my intermediate diploma I concluded my master in
Germany
at the
Humboldt University of Berlin receiving my diploma. I
started the physics graduate program at University of
Wuppertal.
I joined the Ph.D. program in physics at University of
California, Irvine, where I received my Ph.D. degree.
Currently I am post-doc at UC Irvine, and I am affiliated with
the AMANDA (Antarctic Muon And
Neutrino Detector Array)
and IceCube
projects, neutrino telescopes deployed deep in the Antarctic ice at
the South Pole,
and with the ANITA
(ANtarctic Impulse Transient Antenna) experiment, a new balloon HE
neutrino detector which flew above the continent of Antarctica.
