Dear New Student:

Congratulations and welcome to UC Irvine and the School of Physical Sciences!

You should be extremely proud of your accomplishments. We hope that you find UC Irvine a stimulating and exciting environment to continue your education.

There are a number of steps that you must follow this summer in order to ensure a smooth transition.

These steps are listed below and are outlined in more detail at the Welcome New Anteater website: <www.students.uci.edu/welcome/>.

Step 1: Activate your UCInetID

Step 2: Complete the Anteater Zot Start

Step 3: Register for a Student Parent Orientation Program (SPOP)

Step 4: Sign up for Placement Testing

Step 5: Relax and Have Fun!
